IP Address Conflict Error
 

If you are receiving an IP Address Conflict issue when trying to connect or during a connection, please follow the steps below.

Open your control panel (ie: start - settings - control panel).

If your control panel says "Switch to Classic View" click on it. If not, proceed to step 3

Double click on Network Connections

In Network Connections, right-click on Local Area Connection

Select Properties

In the Local Area Connection Properties window, Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Do NOT un-check the box.

Click the Properties button


In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) window, click the Advanced button


In the Advanced TCP/IP Settings window, click on the DNS tab

Under the DNS tab, UN-check the box that says "Register this connection's addresses in DNS"


Reboot your computer and reconnect
