How to Setup SMTP Authentication in Eudora 7
Open Eudora
Click on the Tools menu at the top of the window.
Next click Options… at the bottom of the drop down window.
A window similar to the following should open.

In the Category column, click on Sending Mail.
Verify Allow Authentication is checked (check it if it is not).
Click OK.
Done!
